I joined Stick By Me early in 2010, after seeing the range of products at a craft show the previous year. The items excited me with their versatility and the ability to make custom items for my special projects. I am a demonstrator who crafts for myself personally as well as showing you what you can do, so for me, the ability to make items to suit my projects really appealed. The existing range is all so very beautiful and with new products available every other month, I am very excited to be involved with this fairly new company right from the start! I joined SU almost 4 years ago when my daughter was born as a way to purchase my own stamping products at a reduced rate, as well as have them posted to my door - cheating, I know, but we really are homebodies. What started as a discount, however, quickly turned into an obsession! Friends started noticing and would ask how I had done a particular part of a card, or comment on a gift bag or item in our home and ask who made it. This is how my classes first started - so I could show friends and family how to do particular techniques. It was all very basic, but has now evolved into Technique Geeks. Although I am no longer active with Stampin' Up!, these classes still continue to teach others the joy of crafting from the ground up. My joy comes in helping people achieve something they may not have believed they were able to do, or learning a new technique previously unknown. I also have a very extensive collection of templates and patterns as well as project instructions, and love helping crafters find exactly what they are looking for!
